Q: What do I need to bring to class?
A: Just yourself! And if you would like, invite a friend. It's even
more fun to paint with a friend! All supplies are
included.
Q: Can I just show up for painting class?
A: You will need to make a reservation. You can call the gallery at
327-9940 or 802-7847, sign up online at
www.jenniferharwellart.com, or come by. We limit class size to 16 people
so that your instructor gave give you as
much attention as you need.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If you must reschedule, call the gallery within 24 hours of your
class time. Otherwise, you forfeit the class. This
is gallery policy.
Q: What time should I arrive for class?
A: Ten minutes prior to start time will allow you time to check in.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Come as you are! Painting Smocks are provided.
Q: Is this "follow the leader" painting? Or do I actually
learn to paint?
A: This is not "follow the leader" painting. Our instructors
give as much or as little instruction as you want. There
are 12 sequential lessons available in this series that teach and prepare
you to paint independently in just a matter
of a few months.
Q: What size is the canvas?
A: We provide a 16 x 20 canvas for each student. If you finish your
first canvas before class is over, you may
purchase another canvas for $10, based on availability.
Q: What if I want to paint on an extra large canvas?
A: As a larger sized canvas is more difficult to finish within the 2
hour class, periodically we offer oversized canvas
painting classes. Please see our website for details.
Q: Will Jennifer Harwell always be the instructor?
A: Jennifer does make it a priority to teach most classes, but on occasion
may call upon one of her trained artist
instructors.
Q: Can i reserve space for several people or for an event?
A: Yes, you can rent the gallery space for parties of 10 or more. If
you wish, bring party foods and drinks. We will
supply extra tables and hospitality, or inquire about our gallery catering
options.
